The transformation of the contemporary house in the post network era is obviously related to a transformation of the urban. In this presentation an account of this impact is given through a personal point of view. The center of the house became an idiosyncratic public space and the modes of communication replaced the oral by a system of text and image flows while - through the multiplication of networked screens - a loss of the equilibrium takes place. The strong shared character of the living room is replaced by the idiosyncratic isolation of the networked bed. The TV and the common sofa are replaced by a system of individual screens that - as strange mirrors - present to their users a multitude of public worlds. The battle between the objects of the house is concluding to the defeat of the table as the space for gathering par excellence. This transformation of the house does not only leave in ruins the interior of the house but is also extended to the contemporary city. Observing this city devastation in the center of Athens some recent works in progress of the Antonas office are proposed as scripts for different programs for public tables.
