Transpektive: Talk with Sophie Labelle

[[http://transakcija.si/|Institute TransAkcija]] hosted Sophie Labelle who presented her work at an author's talk in [[http://pritlicje.si/|Pritličje]]. Sophie Labelle is a renown trans author, cartoonist and public speaker from Montreal, Quebec, most famous for her series of cartoons »Assigned Male«, in which a trans protagonist Stephie and various other characters address important topics related to lives of trans people and trans activism. Labelle has a very unique way of tackling serious issues like hetero/cisnormativity and the gender binary in a manner that is honest, critical and witty.
