A worldwide outlook of the nuclear power industry will be discussed in view of post-Fukushima reflections. Nuclear power programme in Poland will be briefly presented in this context. Future of nuclear power will be discussed, following the Strategic Research Agenda of European Sustainable Nuclear Energy Technology Platform. Related activities of National Centre of Nuclear Research in Poland will be presented.
