This roundtable convenes academics, education leaders, policymakers, and researchers to critically examine how ethical principles surrounding AI are interpreted, applied, or contested, within real-world educational settings. Bridging high-level policy frameworks with the lived experiences of classrooms and schools, the session will surface practical challenges, emerging best practices, and opportunities for collaboration. Together with panellists, participants will explore how to ensure that AI in education promotes fairness, inclusion, and safeguards the agency of both educators and learners.
