Yannis Charalabidis

Yannis Charalabidis is a Computer Engineer (BSc, MSc) and holds a PhD in Complex Information Systems Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). He has been an executive director in Singular IT Group, occupying the positions of Director in Projects Division, Product Development Director, VP Strategy and Deputy General Manager. He has also been the Managing Director of Baan Eastern Europe Localisation Centre SA, based in Poland and Netherlands. Previous employments include Siemens-Nixdorf GmbH and Bull SA. Currently he is heading e-Government & eBusiness Research in the Decision Support Systems Laboratory of NTUA, planning and coordinating high-level policy making, research and application projects for Governments and Enterprises worldwide.
