Vivek Pradeep

My research interests lie in the areas of Computer Vision and Autonomous Robotics, specifically in the topics related to SLAM and Structure from Motion. I am motivated towards developing algorithms and systems that can be deployed in real-world settings and serve practical purposes. To this end, my approach is not limited to just finding academic solutions to specific problems, but closing the loop by addressing other components that are critical for wearable or robotic applications, such as human/communication interfaces, power issues and portability. I work at the NSF-sponsored Biomimetic Microelectronics Engineering Research Center (BMES-ERC) and the Institute for Robotics and Intelligent Systems (IRIS) at USC.
