Ganesh Sundaramoorthi

My research is in computational computer vision with a particular interest in medical image analysis. My interest is in developing the mathematical foundations and the computational methods for constructing systems that infer information from imaging (static, 2d/3d, time varying) data. Applications of my research include medicine (diagnosing disease using data from non-invasive imaging devices or image-guided surgery) and developing visual recognition systems for autonomous vehicles or accident avoidance systems.
