Furu Wei

Furu Wei was born in August 1983. He is currently a staff researcher at IBM China Research Lab, Beijing, China. Furu received his Ph.D in June 2009 in Department of Computer Science from Wuhan University, Wuhan, China. Before that, he received a B.Sc degree from the same department in 2004. He has published more than 8 papers in top conferences and leading journals, such as SIGIR, ACL, COLING, CIKM, Knowledge and Information Systems, and Journal of the American Society for Information Science and Technology. His main research interests include natural language processing, information retrieval and text mining.
