Francesco Denatale

Francesco G.B. De Natale was born in Genoa, Italy in 1964. He received the Laurea in Electronic Engineering from the University of Genoa in 1990, discussing a Thesis on advanced image compression techniques, awarded by IRI Institute (Premio di Laurea 1990). In 1990 he joined the Signal Processing and Understanding Group of the Dept. of Biophysical and Electronic Engineering (DIBE, University of Genoa) as a research assistant. In 1994 he obtained the Ph.D. in Telecommunication Engineering. In 1995-96 he was Visiting Professor at the University of Trento, Italy. From 1996 to 1999 he was Assistant Professor at the University of Cagliari, Italy, teaching courses on Telecommunications Systems and Networking. At present he is Full Professor of Telecommunications at the University of Trento, where he coordinates the Bachelor (Laurea) and Master (Laurea Specialistica) Degrees in Telecommunications Engineering.
