His professional career started in 1998 at Tris-A Ltd, a little software company developing custom IT solutions and maintaining complex mainframe systems. Main customers were large companies, insurance and Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Internal Affairs of Republic of Slovenia.
As IT specialist, he was employed at Slovenian Labour Union from 2002 to 2004. His tasks were encompassing development of custom software applications, system admin tasks and periodical education for Union’s members.
Involvement with European projects began at Jožef Stefan Institute in 2005. JSI is central research organization for natural and life sciences in Slovenia, He was involved in preparation and execution of different types of European projects; from Framework Programmes (FP6 and FP7), Competitiveness and Innovation Programmes (CIP) to Ambient Assisted Living (AAL) and EUREKA initiatives.
