Bangpeng Yao

I am currently a PhD student in the Computer Science Department of Stanford University, advised by Professor Fei-Fei Li. I am a member of the Stanford Vision Lab, where I am exploring various computer vision problems (e.g. action recognition, object detection, human pose estimation, etc.) that are related to human and object interactions. Before I moved to Stanford, I worked with Professor Li Fei-Fei in the Computer Science Department of Princeton University as a PhD student for one year. In Princeton, I worked on both computer vision and computational neuroscience. I spent six years in Tsinghua University. In July 2008, I got a master degree from the Computer Science and Technology Department. In the Image and Vision Computing Group, I worked with Professor Haizhou Ai on face recognition problems.
